VAT number


Article summary

The VAT codebook is used to define further rates used when working with invoices, warehouses and catalogue items. In the overview VAT codebook you can find all the set VAT rates in the application. In the overview we can filter by columns:

  • Code - rate code
  • Name - the name of the rate
  • Rate % - VAT rate in percentage
  • State - the state for which the rate is given
  • External code - defined code from an external application to which INSIO can be integrated

Using the magnifying glass option we can open the detail of the selected rate setting, or using the New record option we can set a new VAT rate in the application.

In the detail we can set the attributes:

  • Code - rate code
  • Name - name of the rate
  • Rate - the VAT rate in percentage
  • Order - relative numerical value of the order of the record in the list, the lowest number is displayed first
  • State - the state in which the rate is applied
  • Active - sets the activity (applicability) of the VAT rate
  • External code - defined code from an external application to which INSIO can be integrated
  • Delegated tax liability - allows to mark the rate for the delegated tax liability. In case of delegated tax liability, VAT is paid by the customer
